Just got a CVA WOLF

For the money you cant beat them. I own one and mine likes 2 triple seven pellets, 270gr powerbelt platinum, and triple seven primers.

i set my dads wolf up with 100 grns pyrodex pellets,tc shockwave,and 777 primers,killed his first doe with it opening day at 179 yards,pretty good for a short barreled ml

I bought one fom a guy needing money for 60$, I shot it last year and I love the thing.I found out you can overload it real easy I shoot 100 grains of powder and the shockwave with the yellow tip,I think it is 240 gr.Shoots better than my Knight.

Been thinking about getting a Wolf or an Optima but can't find anyone around Nashville who has the new models in stock. Looked at the older models but don't fit me well. Anybody know a shop around Nashville who has the new model in stock?

I found out you can overload it real easy

So how did you know you overloaded it and what were the signs/results of overloading it?

The new ones come with the easy removable breech plug with no tools. Sweet gun.

Same deal for me. I put a cheapo scope on it and the thing drives tacks. I am no marksman but I have several people come up and ask me about the gun when I'm at the range.

Sorry ewc, not been here in awhile did not mean to be rude.
The way I found that I was overloading was inconsistent shots
My shot would tumble rather than rifle like it should.
I experimented with different loads and when I got around a 100 gr.the gun seemed to like it with tighter groups of 3
