Have several cedars getting hit very close to this one, but this is a pretty good sized tree. Probably the largest cedar rub i have ever seen on my place. How likely is it this was made after Monday morning, there were some shavings still at the bottom of the tree after all the rain. @Ski always appreciate your analysis. He rubbed around the other side of the tree as well.

Whew that's a good one. Hard to say when it was made exactly. It's been raining and wet so any of the shavings would be pretty worn in if they've been there long. If they're fluffy and lightly laying on top then it's pretty fresh. Also if it smells strong of cedar it's fresh. The sap/scent will be watered down after all the rain. Those are things I'd be looking at.
