I am new to this rockfishin,,maybe been 5-6 times,,first decent one I have caught,,while not a monster it was a blast the frist time he came out of the water probably 75 yards or farther from the boat,,the 2nd time it came up it was farther than that,,I had a blast,,

those fish are getting rare. several years ago, it was nothing to catch several 20+ fish every trip(watts bar). now, 12-15 lbs is about the top with the occasional 20 lb fish.
