Just a note...

I have posted on here several times about my best friend and sous chef. She has been battling two forms of cancer. They are doing an emergency bone scan tomorrow. She is terrified and quite honestly, so am I. Maybe you could offer up a good thought. She is a good woman and deserves better. I have never seen her this scared. When I told my wife, she turned white.
I can't lose those cinnamom rolls.

She got the test results last Friday. They give her less than a year. She is taking it better than I. We spent all day at Center Hill just walking and talking. They found tumors on her brain, her adrenal gland two ribs and her femur. It is melanoma, the deadliest form. The pain has already started.

We are making black bean chili tomorrow and plan to eat it all even though we know it is going to make us both sick.
