Any tips on how to get rid of Johnson Grass? Got some in one of my clover plots, I've tried spraying it and try to keep it mowed but that stuff is relentless.

Yes it killed what I sprayed but more came back up

Suspect your new growth after spraying is probably from seed. Might need a couple sprayings before it ever gets seed.

We have some we are dealing with. I think the key is a couple timely sprayings throughout a year or two before seed can get established.

Positive it's Johnson? It is hard to get rid of on the other hand if interest is more than just whitetail it can be beneficial

I've never seen Johnson grass that could withstand 12oz of clethodim with crop oil per acre. Your probably dealing with Johnson grass sprouting back from the rhizome.
