I'm a fast skinner, too.

I lean toward 4.5. Some are confident in 4.5 and some say 3.5. Just looking for additional opinions.

I think he's 3.5. I would like to hold the jawbone but don't see enough to say 4.5.

3.5 based on wear. However, I've had several deer that were aged 3.5 by a wildlife biologist that turned out to be much older when the incisors were tested.

The toothwear indicates 3.5 pretty definitely. But, unless somebody saw this deer's birth and put a tag in its ear, no one will ever know for sure.

Also, there is often a big difference in getting the jawbones in your hand for inspection vs. viewing a pic or two.
Usually, we're aging "X" age as the minimum age we're extremely confident, which doesn't rule out it being older.
