Here's the jawbones I was complaing about. How old?

Interesting. I tended to think just the opposite, although really not too certain altogether. The top one has a lot more wear on both the back molar and the back premolar. The width of the dentine on the first molar seems to be the only thing to indicate that the top is not 3 years old.

On the bottom one The back molar has such little wear, I figured he must be a 2 year old.

One thing is for sure....I have many jawbones of 2 year olds, does and bucks, early season and late season, from a couple of different states, and both these seem to be more substantially worn than the other samples I have....that's why this has been a head scratcher.
