Neighbors friend killed this deer yesterday morning down the road from me. I won't post pics of the rack yet, but we were sure it was a good 3 year old buck. I'm pretty sure what y'all will say about the jawbones, I just want to hear the unbiased opinions.

The abscessed tooth on the left certainly made him favor the right side, but still classic for 2.5. How much did he weigh?

Here is the deer, a friend of Fleet Fox got him down the street from me. I could have sat on the same property and killed him but I was off on public land letting a shooter get by me in the woods.

Scored 129 and change, with less than 2" of deductions. Heck of a 2 year old.

I know you can't age a dead deer, however, I don't disagree with the pic either that he was only 2.

X2. The body on that deer certainly could be that of a 2yo. It has 2yo mass and brow tines.

Agreed, that's a nice 2 yo. Top 1% of the gene pool. We had a 2 yo I found dead the following spring that scored 135 several years ago

2 yr old 130" 8 pt with super short brows and limited mass is quite impressive. Could have let him walk but would have likely been on the tailgate of someone else's truck.

not likely, not too many people hunting the area. But being 21" wide inside that's a hard deer for anyone to pass.
