For BSK or anyone else that may know...Is there any chance that the EHD could have caused a buck to loose it's teeth and regrow them as if it were a yearling?

Reason for asking: Got a jaw bone back this week that is clearly a 3.5 year old deer. This is not consistent with our trail cam pictures over the last few years of this buck.

Thanks!

Nope.

If tooth-wear is 3 1/2, then that's very close to the buck's real age. I would say 50/50 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 (tooth-wear under-ages older deer).
