That seems a little expensive. Also handloaders....
At times I've found factory loaded tss shells on sale for the equivalent of $60 per lb of shot. Some are buying the shells just to cut them open and cannabalize the shot to use for their handloads.
No doubt! That seems a little expensive.
9mm is getting there. It was 9.99/box for BLAZER 115GR and now you can find it fo 10.99 about every week.I always tried to tell my buddies anytime you see good quality ammo for cheap, buy it... can't lose when you do. even if it is in a caliber you don't own. I have a bunch of tss put back but I've also got plenty of Winchester double x in 410 and 20 that'll kill at a fair distance. still debating ordering some more high powered rifle ammo right now on a couple sites just because it's priced so well.... ammo prices fluctuate but since the last big surge they haven't went back to what they were, probably never will.
that's pretty much the only one that has really... 22LR, Centerfire ammo, shotgun, etc use to you could go to Walmart and the cheap centerfire was $17/box roughly, same stuff now is 23/24 before tax. I'm not gonna complain though... it's at least available for the moment. but if anyone is like me and my buddies the days of burning through a few boxes on the weekends aren't happening anymore.9mm is getting there. I picked up several boxes of turkey loads, 300 winmag, 30/06 on clearance on my after Christmas walmart bargain runs....selling out now it seems.
I guess hunters are buying up anything they can afford.
I've never seen tss shells at a Wally World but plenty of Remington lead shellsI picked up several boxes of turkey loads, 300 winmag, 30/06 on clearance on my after Christmas walmart bargain runs....

My Walmart has actually carried the Winchester Longbeard TSS. I was surprised to see it last year after season ended. I dont usually even go to Walmart for anything hunting related, but I do stroll through the sporting goods when I am there. Not TSS, thought the post was turkey shells in general @ walmart...
