I have been lazy lately and doing a very poor job providing fishing reports (i.e. "advertisements") for the fishing in the Scenic City. Too much fishing, too much "other" work and life in general.
That said... in general catfishing in the tailwaters has been good. Most mornings, provided we have some decent water flow, we can fill a standard cooler with good eating-sized catfish... mostly blues and a few channels. The occasional bigger fish comes along... in the last week we've had an 18, a 22 and a handful in the 10 to 15 lb. class (plus a couple of "broken lines and broken hearts"). Here's just a few happy anglers.
