I know this is an SEC dominated forum, but this is the National Championship game.
Who y'all got? Most of the pundits are picking IU to win and they are an 8.5 point favorite to win AT Miami. I think IU is the better team and I grew up in Big 10 country rooting for IU basketball big time, but Miami's defense has the real potential to shut down IU. I'm hoping they can't do it…IU 27-10. Mostly because IU's defense is good too and it's better than Miami's offense.

That's a solid prediction and I agree with you

Miami's defense will have a better outing than the previous couple playoff pretenders (hehe) but they can't stop IU

Miami offense will have a rough night

I think IU wins and covers.
Agreed. If Miami comes out early with a strong offense it could get interesting. Miami has a scary defense which can cause some problems for Mendoza. I don't think he has faced a defense the caliber of Miami all season so it should be interesting to see how he holds up to that line being in his face all night.

Cristobal has the tendency to choke in big games. If he can shrug off that syndrome and keep focused on the task at hand and not blow it could be a really close game. Carson Beck is the weakest link. It all depends really on what sorta game he has and if IU is able to control him or not. He seems destined to lose these big ones. Perhaps its his time to break one out. We will see. I would like to see Miami win this one. Not counting on it.

IU is going to hang at least 35 points. The question is: which Carson Beck is going to show up. One Carson Beck can throw 6 TD's, the other can choke on water.

I think IU wins by 21. I'll say 24-17 at half, and 41-20 final. Take it to the bank

There have been lots of rumors floating around about why Carson Beck left Georgia. They sure seem to have some distaste for him and don't speak too highly of him. Some of those surround the fact that maybe he threw the last game he played for a Lambo payment. IDK sure looked like he was trying to throw that last game against Ole Miss for a hot min. And something woke him up.

You are right it depends on which Carson Beck Shows up.

It should be a fairly close game in the first half. I think IU will make the better adjustments and end up winning it.

Can you post a source? I can't find anything

All I know is I'd sure love to see Cristobal lose the natty on his home field. The dude acts like a raging lunatic and his team lacks discipline/self control. On the flip side, Indiana is a team that is not going to beat themselves by committing self-inflicted mistakes.

Give me Curt "Google me. I win!" Cignetti and the HOO .. HOO .. HOOSIERS!!!

Likely the ONLY TEAM in the NCAA with this line up!!! How can they possibly be this good?

I for sure think IU is the better team, but for some reason I'm thinking Miami squeaks out a win, and I hope I'm wrong even, but just have that nagging feeling. 😬

Indiana has to beat them like a drum. If they don't the refs will for sure get a Miami win! Miami will hold, clothes line, make any illegal hit they can. If they don't get called for it and let Miami do whatever they want Miami will squeak out a last minute win with a field goal.
I think Indiana wins by at least 21.

I've watched both teams all year long, especially the 2nd half of the season & the playoffs.

If it was a neutral site I'd say Indiana by 17.
I really don't care one way or the other, but since it's in Miami, I think Indiana wins 20-13.
