It's Weird

I've taken my 358 Winchester to the range just to confirm zero the last three years. Last year I posted the two shots on the left from the past two years because it was just so weird that they were identical. Someone said I needed to shoot a little higher and right just kidding since these were at 200 yards. I clicked one click right and up last year and now the shot on the right is this year's. This rifle shoots good, but not that good. I think it's enchanted on it's single sight in shot each year. Weird or what?

Like I said, the rifle doesn't shoot that well. It's about an inch and a half to two inch rifle at that range. Just in case I decide to use it each year I've shot one shot to confirm zero each year and it's been uncanny. I also tried some 250 grain Hornady Round noses and 200 Hornady Round noses in it today but at 100 yards. They were both around an inch or less. I really don't anticipate using the rifle at long range but it was originally zeroed at 200 and the scope has stayed dead on over time.

With it shooting like that, you are not going to need but the
one shot.

I have a 35 remington that will not group any better than about
3 inches at a hundred and I have more than once (witnessed),
shot the bottle caps off of five bottles in 5 shots at a hundred.
I do not understand it and never will.

Maybe try missing with your scope power settings at the 100 yd bench.
Clean Barrel on 200 yd shot?
