awesome seeing a deer like that at this time of the year and knowing you will be able to go after him next year and he'll be even bigger! That's what sleepless nights for the next 8 months are made of!
 
Lol. Yeah that sounds about right! I'll be out with my son this weekend so he has one last chance at the big 8 we were after all year but I figure he won't show till we go pull our stands next week.

Yeah, the ONLY 3 year old buck I even got a trail cam sighting of this year walked by one of my cameras mid day on January 8 - the last day to shoot a buck. :D By that time I was already so burned out with deer hunting that I'm not sure I'd have shot him anyway if it had been me rather than the trail cam that spotted him. But it is something to daydream about for next season.
