The word is does people. One female deer is a doe and the plural for the animal is DOES! I have no idea why it's getting on my nerves today but it just is.

I knew a guy back in college that used to do the same with the word buck.

"I seen 3 or 4 good buck back in that field."

It would make me crazy.
 
Grammar mistakes dont get on my Nevers at all? As long as I can read it and I know what the person is talking about I can care less lol just how I am! This is a Tennesse talk web site with the subject being about hunting lol what do you expect? There is alot more important things in the world that should get on your nevers lol. And Jim bobs grammar mistakes on the internet should not be one of them haha JMO
 
Love you guys! lol Glad I'm not the only one that gets irked by this. 99.44% of the time I would never pay it any mind at all but today I just couldn't shake it. I make no judgement on where someone is from or what their local words are for various things but this is basic stuff.

Oh and my other favorite is when someone is going to "sale" it. Holy crap!
 
A lot of it is smartphones that complete your typing and folks aren't proofreading.

And suppose is was a possessive doe? As in, "the Doe's fawn is dead because KenBob killed it with his hatchet".
 
Just looked "doe" up in my Websters New College dictionary:

Here goes:

doe (do) n, pl. doe or does 1. The female of a deer or related animal

How about "mute" instead of "moot"?

the other day I was fishin and seen a bunch of long antler bulls in the field
 
I hate when people say back strap. I don't even care that it's right. It is (should be) back strip. Back strap is what is holding my atv on the trailer. Back strip is a cut of meat. It is a strip of meat. Like... New York strip, not New York strap. I'd like to find whoever screwed this all up and kick em in the teeth! I hate when I say back strip and someone says, "yea, I love back strap too." INSTANT FACE PUNCH!
