Drove to Murray, Ky and back this weekend for MSU homecoming! You can always tell when its close by the number of dead deer on the road. I counted nearly 20 on I-24 alone. Its very close. Hoping this cool snap this weekend puts them on their feet for muzzleloader.

I got my Master's Degree from Murray State. For a small city, Murray sure has changed a lot in the last few years! I think with the cooler temps this weekend, the deer movement should really pick up in most areas.

Thats about triple from what I seen a week ago through that area. Good stuff, sorta.

I was just about to post a thread about this. I go to school at Chatt state and have an hour drive down I-24 and I saw several bucks laying on the side of the highway this morning.

I am from Benton and Played college football at Murray State from 01-04. My younger brother played ball there from 06-10. We just bought a little lake house in blood river this February and my aunt owns 40 ish acres in the same area. Murray is home to us. And your right about change, my freshman year they went wet by the drink and we all made fake ID's so we could drink at Applebee's and had to drive to PAris for liquor. Now, completely wet and beer in the gas stations. Times have changed.
