Last deer hunt of the season for me this evening. Sat for 4 hours in the rain, nothing was stirring not even a mouse lol.
Was a pretty good season though, saw Deer just about every sit. Never saw a monster but did kill a decent 7 point here on the "farm" on the M/L season and killed two does on a WMA hunt.
Time to start cutting firewood for next year, I know of a couple of dead standing White Oaks and a few more dead Ash trees.
Might even try to kill some of those pesky tree rats that bugged the crap out of me all season.
Looking forward to doing some habitat improvement projects and planning for my Spring food plots.
Turkey season and Trout fishing time will be here before you know it.
