Whitetails now have a year round rut, will this affect our hunting season dates. :)

I spent most of the day in the woods scouting yesterday down here in south MS, and the scrapes are still very active... BUT that is normal for us. When I was in TN last weekend predator hunting, scrapes were dead on my places.

I'm in far southeast TN and I don't recall ever seeing scrapes this time of year. And it's only scrapes, no fresh rubs. I'm not currently running cameras so I don't know if they are still holding antlers or not. I've haven't found any sheds as of yet.

My deer population is not high
Not seeing any deer with antlers in west tn or east
My target bucks survived I have their sheds
My deer herd as I watch look healthy and well fed considering its been a while since it's been that cold that long w that snow cover

Seen some pretty close to you on the other side of the line last year. I thought it strange but maybe not🤷

I think he's wanting you to invite him to come back around next year!
I bet he liked what he found
Still have a ton of standing corn
Beans peas and sunflowers smoked
Green plots still holding ip
But deer density has steadily picked up week by week since early fall
This farm had been heavily grazed
I removed the cattle and turned the pastures to food plots
We didn't take a single deer off it

I'm amazed at the grass in your picture from March 2nd. Very green and quite High. Mine in southeast Tennessee got planted late and hammered hard. Didn't really have much of a chance to get going well. Starting to Green up pretty good now but nothing like what yours is in that photo.
