Issue with motor

2015 20hp pull start Mercury. Couldn't get it to start on Thanksgiving. Today was my next attempt. After pulling it out of the water I tried to crank it. Fuel is coming out of the exhaust. Any ideas?

2 stroke or 4 stroke? How long since it last ran? Fresh fuel? Compression? Fire? Maybe it just flooded before it started?

4 stroke. Less than 5 hours from last service. I did let it set during hunting season for about 4 months. Not doing that again. I guess it's going to a different mechanic this go around.

4 stroke with fuel coming out exhaust. Sounds like it's flooding to me. Carburator or fuel injection? If carb, maybe it's gummed up, if fuel injection...I got nothing. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
