boy I tell you what I'm looking for something to deer hunt with. I'd be scared to take that beauty outta the safe.
it was built to hunt with! It is a very accurate rifle.
Put a cover over the stock and hunt! I've got a Winchester model 70 30-06 that was the first deer rifle my parents bought me when I was 13 or so. I haven't hunted it in years but best thing I did was buy a sleeve that goes over it. Don't think it has a scratch anywhere on the wood.
