Island Hunting on Percy Priest

Anybody have any thoughts, advice, experience, or anything?

Been thinking about trying out this WMA and hunting the islands seem like a good way to avoid other hunters.

I've been interested in this as well but highly doubt there are many if any deer. But maybe someone has some experience with the islands.

Some islands hold deer occasionally but, they are definitely hunted. I have heard in the past couple years they've become quite popular. Just think about it everyone thinks they'll be a magical place away from others.

the one i hunt was definitely slower this year than others. they can be good and over crowded at the same time. once the guns start popping the deer are hiding, and a lot of those islands are extremely thick, so they have plenty of places to hide.
