Hope it helps, but don't know at this point if the main manufacturers will drop their prices. More competition in the market should bring prices down at retailers though.

Competition won't drive down prices until the shelves start filling up. This company is offering 9mm @ $30 a box and .308 ammo for $1 a round on their web site now.

As I understand the statements they have made, they won't be producing primers until 2023.

It's a bold move for sure. The companies that already have the ability to do this haven't done it because of their beliefs on what the end result will be. We shall see.

I'm thinking this IS the new normal, and prices will likely climb even higher before leveling off, and possibly dropping back a smidge. That's only when you can find components still tho.
