Just found out I am having back surgery in March. I am going to be down most of March and April. So now I am on a tighter schedule. If I can get in my plots without getting stuck, does the fact we they are pretty wet impact me from putting my lime down now? Does it dilute the lime or cause any other problems? I am still new to this and don't want to throw away my money or have bed results.

It's always a good time for lime! But like you said, if you get stuck or rut up your ground, you'll have to weigh the pros and Cons.

The wetness will not affect the lime, but it will affect your ability to spread it. So, if you can get it spread, go for it!

Lime should be put out 6 months before you plant anyway so the earlier the better. Of course that assumes you can get in and out of the field without getting stuck and cutting big wheel ruts.
