To put seed out for a plot and disc it in? If not what would be best? Wheat, oats, clover? Kind of new to food plots and I have a few small ones that are getting hammered just didn't know if I should just oversees those plots already semi established or disc and seed something else. Thanks

I would think you could also put rye into the mix. Your thoughts BSK ?

Any cereal grain can be planted well into winter. It might not grow fast, but it can be broadcast or drilled any time. Clover is slower to get started. You can plant it late, but growth will be quite slow.

Thanks for the help. Might have to cage off part of what I do have to keep them from eating it to the ground too soon. And I guess I'll broadcast more and disc up another area to help out.
