The rut that is for Montgomery County area hunters

I saw a nice buck pushing does in a cut bean field on my way home from work at 330, might have to hunt one more time with my bow before rifle tomorrow........

From what I've heard, it has been there in Montgomery Co. Of course what is happening on one farm a couple of miles down the road, may not be what is happening at yours. It doesn't just hit the county all at the same time.

For instance, a few people on here have said, the rut is on in Rutherford Co. I hunt Rutherford, but on my place, which is closer to Cannon Co, it usually doesn't start until around Nov. 20th. Now it can be a day or two before or after that, just depends on the year. I am off starting tomorrow until after Thanksgiving.

You have to figure out the rut on your particular place and hunt in that window.
