Internal battery question

I've got a Moultrie MX 80 I've had for a few years. Still takes great pictures, but the internal battery that keeps the date/time has finally died. It is soldered onto a board inside the camera body. Do you think its worth the trouble to get the old one unsoldered and solder a new one in, just let it be and not know exactly when its taking pictures, or just give it up and get a new camera?

Why not try, you have nothing to lose. If you can do it ( change the battery). go for it.
