its very much geared toward whitelail, sitting still type hunting. With that audience in mind, I can see what they are trying to do.

Im not sure how it would do in the turkey woods. If I had $1000+ binos I just dont know that I would want to trust 3 bungie cords to hold them from falling out.

When I first looked at this, my initial thought was "a solution in search of a problem." However, before I got a nice bino harness, I used one of the Crooked Horn Outfitters elastic style harnesses for years. The kind that just holds the naked binos to your chest. When deer hunting, it was convenient being able to simply raise them to my eyes and let them back down whenever I wanted to glass something with 0 risk of dropping them out of a tree and without needing to pull them out and put them back into a pouch 50 times a morning. I wouldn't trade my current harness for this, but I definitely see why someone might prefer this "hybrid" style for stationary deer hunting.

My 8x30 Swaros have been on my chest with only a strap and no cover since 1997. A strap is rough on your neck. I finally got a harness about 7 years ago and that is the best $30 I have ever spent on hunting gear.

The pouches just seem girly and a marketing gimmick to me. Maybe if I bounced around on an ATV or was in rainstorms all the time. There is no way the binocs would ever be untethered. My son left a pair of good Leupolds in a cut cornfield that we never saw again when he laid them down in dark while tracking.

It's not the "strap" that's the issue. They are being held by 2 thin bungee cords and the cover is held by 1 thin cord. My fear is bungee wears out and stretches over time, I'd just be nervous with that long term.

Again I see the audience they are going for and it makes sense. I don't have a huge fear of dropping my binos. Most reputable company's will repair or replace them for free, I'd me more nervous they got lost or lens all scratched up along the way.
