My wife wants one :roll: . I'm just not sold on them. I already have multiple crock pots, etc. the only thing I don't have is a pressure cooker.

Is it really that good?
 
We have had one for a couple of months and yet to use.I had actually forgotten about it until i saw this thread.Wife wanted one and bought while I was laid up with injury.It got set aside but will definitely read up on instructions test out possible tomorrow.
 
I see lots of people talk about them, but I honestly don't know what they are. Is it an electric pressure cooker? You got me curious because we have my grandma's pressure cooker and love using it.
 
I hear about them. What is different from a crock pot?
 
My wife was talking about these yesterday.
Someone she knows said she could get up on Sunday morning, put a roast in it and by the time they get home from church it is ready to eat.

We might have to get us one.
 
So I looked on their site, it is an electric/programmable pressure cooker from best I can tell. Sounds interesting, but not sure I'm ready to replace the ole pressure cooker with it just yet.
 
Wife was unsure, but I wanted her to have one so I got one. She absolutely loves the thing now! Especially in summer, it cuts down on heat in the house:
 
My wife wanted one so bad but I wasn't sold on them. We did a pot roast last night in 1.5 hours and it shredded very nicely. Turned out amazing and I'm very impressed. The night before that, she did 2 chicken breasts 1/2 thawed and cooked for 16 minutes and it shredded apart. We have the Max so it will do literally everything

My wife loves to cook a roast in ours.
I will dig out a frozen deer roast and she will add vegetables and it cooks an hour and 10 minutes and it's done.

The wife and I use one 2-3 times a week. Even have a smaller sister size version we use in our camper.

Dried beans cooked and ready in less than an hour. Will render a whole chicken and debone it and then cook yellow rice and add chicken after that finishes. Make a big crock of chicken/rice/carrots/noodles.
 
My daughter's, that we got her for Christmas, caught fire. I think her stupid husband put it on the stove on a hot eye or turned the eye on with it sitting on the stove. Can't prove it but that's my thinking.
