killed some time the other day walkin around the gun shop and found a remington 700 ss in 7mm stw and it rubbed me the right way. believe im going to go see if they still have it but im havin a hard time figuring out what to top her with any ideas?

Do you reload? Reason I ask is a buddy of mine has a nice Remington 700 STW that he really likes a lot. With that said, it is a safe queen now because for one, it is overkill for where we hunt these days, but second and most important, he has to get a loan to purchase ammo, when he can find it locally, which is rare. He is not a computer savvy kind of guy so he rarely mail orders anything. These may or may not be issues for you and others, but thought I would share them just in case you had not considered them. Best of luck in your final decision with the gun and the glass.

i bet it was used. they are easy to find used. overkill, heavy, costly to shoot and very inefficient. just a novelty for speed demons who eventually sell them and by a 7mm08 or 270 win

well they still had it so I put it in layway to hold it till next paid day, I really dont need it but its a new toy to play with. muzzle break, leupold mounts and rings also has an extra mag for $503 and my uncle gave be a box & 1/2 of 160gr accubonds to try threw itnow all I need is glass, dies and brass :)im gettin giddy lol
