This year , our deer lease has been flooded since late summer , the other day I was wading though a small flooded area to get to my stand and flushed some ducks out of a creek the beavers dam up , just got me to thinking about duck hunting which I never have tryed and know nothing about , when is tennesse duck season ? I am not even sure how u would hunt this land cause its just a couple if flooded creeks in thick timber ?

probably were wood ducks. They are fun to kill and are pretty birds. they usually will find a spot they like and stick around it so you will probably see them again.

just find them shoot at them and hang tight. theyll be back :)

But don't shoot them until 30 mins before sunrise.

That's the important part.

I deer hunt near a stream and see woodies fly up and down fairly often. I don't know why but I just can't bring myself to shoot them. Now get me to our blind and I'm all about it.
