I was using my metal detecotor in a plowed field where I had found a lot of borken pieces of old glass recently. As I was leaving I came across this piece of stone that is almost completely flat on one side and tapered from the center to the edge on the other side as if it could have been a scraper or blade. This purple stone is not real common in the area where I found it.

I don't know. Kinda looks like some type of flaking but I am still learning.

Gotta ask the pro's maybe they well be along shortly.

It appears to have been worked.
Either a crude scraper, or something that was never finished for whatever reason.

It looks like some flaking or looks appears to have been worked
like a blank or a flake off a larger chert
point.
