Had the hunt of a lifetime a couple weeks ago with my buddy and our two sons. Just now got around to posting pics and story (which for some reason ended up as sort of a poem) on my website. We killed four limits of mallards in just over an hour on a day when we thought we would be lucky to even see a duck. My buddy's lab made a terrific 150 yard retrieve on a banded hen. Looking forward to our last youth hunt this weekend (the boys are 15 this year). Mallards are packed into the flooded timber. Should be good.
