If my scope says on the turret 1 click equals 1/4 inch. Does this really mean 4 clicks is 1 MOA at 100 yards. I know that MOA is slightly more than one inch. The Zeiss website says 4 click equals one MOA. I know the difference is negligible but this seems like a technical discrepancy.

Thanks, just thought it funny that they would express it as inches because nobody would understand what MOA means.
 
actually different scope makers use both setups and it is good to know which clix you have,,if it is marked 1 click is 1/4 inch it should move 1 inch per 4 clix at 100 yards,,,if it is marked 1 click is 1/4 moa 4 clix should move it 1 MOA ,,while it wont matter much to most people but if you are shooting at longer range and your calculations calls for 28 MOA to hit a steel plate at 1,000 yards and your scope is in 1/4 inch clicks instead of 1/4 MOA clicks you will miss low 14 inches,,

I had to think about that one... but you are correct. 1 MOA equals 1.047
