I use Rocky snake boots during turkey season. They're lightweight and I've had no problems with them. I'm on my 2nd pair. If you just want rubber boots go with the Muck or Lacrosse. I bought a pair of Muck Woody Max for cold weather just down the road from you in Dayton last fall. There's a co-op or feed store that my buddy there told me about so I stopped in when I came up there hunting with him. They were right at $100. I also have a pair of Lacrosse Alpha Burley Sports that are uninsulated but do have a liner so you're not in direct contact with the rubber. They normally sell for $130 but I got them from Bass Pro on sale for $59. I wear these if its very wet or not cold. Both are comfortable for walking.

Get to Sportsman's Warehouse. I was there Thursday and they had some LaCrosses w/goretex on sale for either $80 or 90 I can't remember. But one set was the same ones I bought a couple years ago for $130.
