I haven't got to shoot in a few days so I went out this morning to fling a few shafts.

The first set of six arrows was the best group I've shot since starting back shooting.

The second set of six arrows here's # 3 & 4 !

It's not the most perfect Robin Hood I've ever seen , but I think it still qualifies.

It was only at 15 yards however, but shot instinctively and with a long bow .

The head that entered the other shaft is an old 1990's Rocky Mountain Razor broad head without the blades attached.

They now have a new resting spot !

I've shot bows for over thirty years , busted a bunch of nocks and have came close too a Robin Hood several times .

But this is the first one to ever stick..... y'all think carbon shafts give up more RH's than wood or aluminum ?

I think so due to the shaft not being tappered.

It made this old mans day!

Yea, I know the calendar needs turned in the photo , FYI the clocks an hour slow too.

After all I am Retired! If I hold out for another couple of months the clock will be right again! LOL

And I'll work on changing the calendar ... :bore:

I ha e never had a perfect Robin Hood shot . Close a couple times though but not because I was shooting good groups so I am not sure if it's because I am that unlucky or that lucky lol

I saw a Guy at a tourneyment once shoot two RH's in one match.

Of course he was using a bow with sights, pulleys and wheels.

And he was a great shot with it, mine I contribute more to Luck .

But the groups are getting smaller still!
