I'm trying a powder I have never worked with. I've read a little bit about it being temp sensitive. Any first hand experience that you can share? Thanks

Three rifles: 300 WinMag A-bolt; 300 WinMag Winchester sporter; 243 Rem 700 ADL.

Loaded in Diamond Bar, CA temp in mid 80's.

Shot and killed deer with 243 at Tejon Ranch mostly 32 or warmer, dozens of piggies in mid-CA Coalingua ranch mostly hot; elk and mule deer with 300 A-Bolt in brutal sub zero weather at 7500 feet elevation.

Never a miss, near miss, fail-to-fire, hang fire, or squib. No case failures, no sticky bolt. No lost animals.

All loads were Nosler book max 180 on mag 100 and 105 for 243.

Always been talk of temp issues with this powder but no issues at all from my experience. I still use it.

It's all I use in my 257 Weatherby but since I typically develop loads in the early Fall and then shoot them in cold weather I wouldn't know about temperature pressure issues. All I know is that it gives high velocity with this overbore 25. :)

I am a fan of IMR7828 and cannot imagine my world without it. My best 7 STW loads, my best 7mm/338RUM loads, both use this incredible powder. I hear praises from buddies in 243 with 100 gr bullets and recall using it in a 270 with 150`s. Great stuff.

^^^^^^I would say this is just about the very best word regarding this powder you could ask for. ^^^^^^

What caliber are you reloading for ? I love it in big calibers , like the 7 ultra or 300 ultra.
