To put out some more trees, with all this rain. What difference would it make,as long as I can get water to them?Any thoughts? Also,I assume that a Chestnut will eventually become a very large tree, not a good one to put in a food plot,is that right?

You can never have too many fruit trees, imo :) They are fun to put out and to eat and see the wildlife benefit from them.

And I dont like ANY big tree in a food plot. Though I have planted 20 or so Chinese Chestnuts on the edge of food plots a month or so ago

Most people don't want trees in the middle of food plots because they zap the moisture. I am guilty of planting on the edges. I do have some trees in areas that I will take out as soon as I see enough growth on other trees to hang a climber.
