Gosh, if it's a sickness I'm in critical condition.
You would not believe the adventures I've had looking at a map, planning exactly how to hunt an area and figuring our how the deer will negotiate the terrain. Okay - maybe YOU would. :smile: If I am going to hunt a WMA I spend a lot of time with those maps. It's really neat to identify a spot, put the coordinates into the GPS, and actually find that place. Sometimes is turns out as good as hoped, and sometimes not. But that's part of the fun. I do that with lake maps also to try to find good trolling waters.
My place is small, but I did have some dozer work done a few years ago. Of course, now that I know more I wish that I had done a few things differently, but I'm still happy with the results.
