to make a long story short, had a crappy morning. like someone turned a switch on after 7 and birds shut up. i had class at 9:40 so annoyed i say i'm gonna head to the house. well i decided to stop and check on a spot i have permission to hunt andwhen i pull up i see birds in the field. i say to myself this will probably never work but we'll see. turkeys are probably 200 yards off so i wait till they get behind a brushpile and make some fast tracks until they come back out 100 yards now, they get behind the barn i cover more ground till about 35 yards when he pops out and the pics tell the rest. probably got lucky but i'll take that anyday of the week. 18.5 pounds 10.5 beard and 1 and 1/16 spurs
