This was taken today.
Not sure what time.
Bad part is the river won't even crest till tomorrow.

Just for you that don't know, that sign you see is usually about 4 feet off the ground.

I know the water will drop fast, like in 2 days, but now that Gooch is literally FULL, I wonder how much, IF ANY, the water level will drop around the actual blinds?

Getting under the tracks will be the fun part of its still up.

No doubt.
This was what it looked like on Monday when my son and his friend went in to get our decoys.
This was at the trestle between the one you drive under and the river.

There's a guy at work who is wondering about a update on water. Got any new news?

Yesterday afternoon, right at dark the water had lowered quite a bit.
The two signs on each side of the "ramp" in the first parking lot, the water was down to ground level between them.

My son and him are going back today and gonna go in and measure the water depth at our blind.

I think we will be able to get in fine Saturday but OH ME what a circus that parking lot / road is gonna be.

Tganks I appreciate it . Coworker said they headed out today to put decoys out but that's what he wanted to see

Hope you love high water because we have a lot more rain coming this weekend!

Dodgeman, I just said a curse word in my mind.

Our hole is ALMOST where we can wade it again.

Sheesh.

Not that it matters, we don't have any ducks anyway. :D

The ducks are here in decent numbers, there just not moving much in this kind of weather. It really doesn't look like that we will see much movement or new ducks in the next 10 days. This weekend looks to be a good time for the people that go through the trouble of scouting and hunting the back water near the MS river.

Good weekend to spent the weekend with the wife, do all the shopping and be her hero again..... before the hunting gets better. ;)

She will think I did it because I wanted to. hee hee
