I never would have got it in.
I was crappie fishing with stretch the other day, just checking some bushes with minnows just to see if we could find some late spawners or fry guards or something.
I dropped mine beside a bush and then saw a dark figure ease out of the bush and my bobber went down.
Set the hook and it was on. LOL
I was using one of my bream rods.
He went crazy as soon as he felt the hookset.
Sucker made TWO laps around my trolling motor shaft in about 1.4 seconds.
Had to lay my rod down while I raised the trolling motor up and use one hand to hold it up and one to unwrap the line from around the shaft. LOL
14 3/4" long but I didn't weigh it.
I told stretch if we were bass fishing I never would have landed that fish.
