Where do you see hen gadwall in this duck? The body feathers, speculum, and bill are wrong for it. The bill is throwing me though. A hen redhead has a light ring and black tip on the bill. How long was it dead before the pic was taken?

Looks like a deep gadwall to me. But no white on wing. But I would have thrown it on the carrier and just called it a gaddy

It was dead about 15 minutes before the picture was taken.

Really don't see anything that makes me say Female Gadwall. Really some traces of male Gadwall but too much brown for me to think Male.
