By the weather man that is! Weather.com said a NW wind.I thought great,I know what stand i'll be hunting this evening.Get to the tree and climb 30 ft up.Get settled in and noticed the wind was NOT coming from the NW but was coming out of the SW.It was a steady SW wind all evening and was blowing right were I expected the deer to come out at.Sure enough 6:45pm I hear it..Plain as day,about 75 to 100yds down the hill a deer blowing wide open.I was mad,thought about packing it in right then,but I sat another hour and didn't see or hear a thing..In my experience any kind of north wind this early in the year is un reliable..
