all around I would go 308,if I was for sure going to look for varmints alot then maybe the 22-250.
I realy like that barrel !
I usualy lean to the 30 cals so I am biased on caliber.Good luck !

I've got one in 22-250.But mine doesn't have the muzzlebreak.I have yet to shoot it farther than 100 yds,but from that it is a tack driver.I love mine.

The caliber probably depends on what you intend to hunt. People, elk, deer, coyotes, ground hogs, chipmunks????

For some reason, I just can't get excited about anything Remington makes right now... (except for the 5r Milspec and the CDL's). I can't stand any of the newer stocks they're putting on thier guns.

For an all around predator rifle I would go with either the 204 or 223. For a gun I could hunt both whitetail and predator with I would go with the 22-250. From the reports I have seen on that rifle, it shoots very well.

Ditto. 223 ammo is (or was) less expensive and more widely available than 204 ammo, if that's a consideration where you buy ammo.
