I would be trying to tune a load where 2 inches at 600 yards didnt seem good enough..
With the mirage that may be as good as I can do too..

6mm BRA with Roy Hunters 106 bullets.

Hmmmm....let's see, 2" at 600 yards, I believe that's about a 0.1 moa group. Dang nice shooting!
Might want to recheck your math.
2 inches is around .3 moa ...I was hoping to get in the .25 moa range at 1.5 inches..

I still got some stuff to try with it.

2"/6 = 0.333
Measured from outside edge of furthest shots
0.333 - 0.236 (6mm) = 0.0973 moa
Unless I've been taught wrong...

I've been using this formula:

Multiply 1.047 x yardage in hundreds(600 yds = 6.0) to get 1 MOA at that distance.
Then divide the group size in inches by MOA at distance.
I came up with .3 MOA as well.

6.0 x 1.047 = 6.282

2 / 6.282 = .318 = MOA at distance

Chiflyguy , I'm with you . When my friends out west told me to sight in my tcencore Mz at 200 w/o scope , I told them I can't see that far ! Actually killed my elk at 212 ! Pure luck . I'm used to 10yd bow shots .
