And so does my gun. In its current configuration and empty it tips the scales at 9.5 lbs. I'd like to shave As much as possible. It's a ruger m77 hawkeye lam, 24" ss barrel in .338 wim mag. It's a good shooter out of the box only really needing trigger replacement. But I want to thin it up a bit so I'm curious who to call or what all I should look at doing if anything really. I'm just use to my deer woods rifles and 7.5 or so lbs they are. 9.5 isn't to bad but if I could get it to 8.7-9 even without affecting felt recoil much or accuracy any Id be happy
Thanks
