I have a Model 17-3 revolver that has ejector issues. I would like for a gunsmith to go over it and see if we can get it working. I would also like to have the double action trigger pull smoothed out. Gun shoots great but casings don't want to eject. If anybody can recommend someone preferably in the Jnoxville area but not a deal breaker.

Have you tried a different ammo? I had some Winchester (I think, but not 100% sure?) .22 ammo that wouldn't eject properly because the cases were swelling when fired. It was the ammo, not the gun. I try to only use CCI Mini Mag if I can get it. I've never had an issue with it in any .22 I own.

If it's not the ammo Smith & Wesson used to do warranty repairs no matter how old the gun was or whether or not you were the original owner. Their customer service has dropped a bunch and that may no longer be the case. But I would still want their gunsmiths to do repairs.

The Performance Center does a Combat Revolver Package for $325 or a Master Revolver Action Package for $165.

Below is a link for service where you can either call or submit your questions online, and a link to the Performance Center.

Yes I have tried several types of ammo. I think I will contact the performance center. That is a good idea. Thanks.
