...a small 4 or 6 pointer get clipped by the truck in front of me. I don't think it hurt him. It just spun his hips around as he ran across the road. This was about 2 PM in the heat of the day. I see them often this time of day when it's super hot. They sure don't move in this heat like this once bow season opens.
 
If he survives and has bone damage from the incident he might turn into one of those freak nasties next year. Buddy of mine showed me picks of a huge 13 pt that was a sickly looking 6 last year, they didn't think it would survive through the season.

How the heck would he know its the same deer unless it ear tagged. Going from a sickly 6 to a huge 13 in a year is a big jump and would drastically change what the rack looks like. Im guessing he must have some specific markings on his body? Im not trying to be a jerk. Just genuinely curious.
