I got my first rifle yesterday. It's a Winchester Model 94. Got a good deal on it and a bunch of ammo. I dated it back to 1955 so I think it could be worth much more than I paid. Can't wait to go shoot!
I got the gun and 4 boxes of ammo for $350. I may get a quote from a gunsmith and get the seller to pay for it. The gun is in really good condition and he has been the only owner.Nhill said:If it was truely a good deal, it might be worth taking it to a gun smith. It might be an easy fix.
How much did you pay?

What a disappointment.

LOL! You really want this thing dont you? I have single fed some empty shells. They eject fine but it still wont pick up the next round.
I'm giving it to the seller tomorrow so he can take it to the gunsmith. We will see what the diagnosis is.
