can't kill em from the couch, go and sit in some bushes or under a big tree, you sure can kill em from the ground. You will get some useful scouting done and maybe see deer while you are at it... just draw back when they aren't looking , and make sure they won't smell where you walked and hope the wind doesn't shift for the worse. Any kind of cover, whether you are hiding behind something or using something as a backdrop, will work. Just don't move.... good luck. Public land is my home when it comes to hunting, don't let the thought of other hunters make you think you can't kill one.
